The about me page is now up on sethegert.com. It can be found at the top bar, next to home. The About Me page features a short bio about none other then the man, the myth, the legend, Seth Egert.
New Look!
Sethegert.com has been updated with an all new look. This site is now much cleaner looking. There are no longer links on the side, all pages can be found at the top bar of the website. Enjoy!
Site Back Up and Unplugged Update
Great News! Sethegert.com is now back up after being down for a few weeks. Thanks to everyone who notified me that the site was down. In other news, Unplugged is about 90% done. After some technical difficulties were resolved (thanks Geek Squad) I can return to editing the film. Unfortunately with me being in college I have had little time to work on Unplugged. I will get to work on the remaining footage and editing as soon as I get out of school. The film should be ready by early June, I’m aiming for a release on June 3rd. That date however is not set in stone and may change.
Hamlet now up!
My newest film, Hamlet, is now up on the website. It was made for my English class and was based on the final scene in the play Hamlet. If you haven’t read the play I wont spoil the ending but I will say I did a fine of job of filming it. Also, it was a modern interpretation as shown by many of the aspects in my film. The film stars Justin and Michael Rosin, Chris Lloyd and Kathleen O’Donnell Pickert. To view the film click movies than click on Hamlet.
Movie Page Updated
After being down for quite sometime the movie page has been fixed. It has been updated and refreshed complete with a new look. The new page is easier to navigate and solved some visual issues that were occurring. Unfortunately, I had to remove the thumbnails for each video, as they were causing problems with the page, especially for older browsers and computers. The new page will work flawlessly regardless of the age of your PC. I will also be adding the length of each video and the category onto the page. These should be added very soon.
Using the mobile site
Did you know that sethegert.com has a mobile website optimized for the iPhone and iPod Touch? This post will help you navigate and use the site.
To select a page you click on the down arrow in the top right corner. Then you click on pages.
To go home you also click on the arrow and you select “home”.
Unfortunately the iPhone/iPod Touch does not support Adobe Flash so you will not be able to watch any videos. Lame I know, but out of my control.
When accessing the site from an iPhone/iPod Touch it will automatically go the mobile site. You can still access the normal site however by taking off the mobile site at the bottom of the pages.

50′s PSA now up!
My newest movie, Dont relax, It’s Anthrax, is now on sethegert.com. It’s in the style of one of the old government PSA’s of the 50′s. It’s even got black and white film and the same cheesy music! This was originaly made for my American Studies class, but it was so good I decided to put it on sethegert.com. It stars Brandon Egert, Scott Thien, and Angela Newton.
Still a few bugs…
Though the site is back up, I still have to work the kinks out on it. Some pages may not load properly or not work at all. I am working on fixing all of these, but untill i do you may still experience some problems with the site. All the movie pages work, however their apperence may be a little messed up.
Sethegert.com BACK ONLINE!
Its been a rough week but sethegert.com is now back online. After expericneing some “techinal difficulties” sethegert.com had been down for around two weeks. Lukcily I have fixed those problems and sethegert.com is now working and fully functional. Thanks to all the people who notified me of this problem. Look for my newest movie, “Dont Relax, It’s Anthrax” to be added to the site soon.
Sethegert.com commercial video remix now up!
I have just uploaded the Video Remix version of my sethegert.com commercial. A video remix is like an alternate version of a video. So basicly it’s an alternate version but I think “video remix” sounds cooler. The actual video features music from Saw III and is set up like a horror movie trailor.
Polls now on the site
I have now added polls to the website. They will be updated every 2-3 weeks. They will be on any subject, whether about the website, pop culture, sports, etc. Right now I can’t get the poll to be centered but I’m working on it.
New Look
Yes, this update of sethegert.com has been in the planning for a long time now. And I’m pleased to announce sethegert.com Version 3.0. This new version was created on a different program, WordPress, hence the completely different look. And hence the fact that it looks normal now, and now works fine on Mozilla Firefox. To view movies, pictures, or news just click on the tabs at the top of the page. To view news posts by date, click on the Archives dropdown list. Hey it looks normal now!
If you logged onto sethegert.com before, you may have relized that the website was not too asthetically pleasing. And if you were using Mozilla Firefox, your the site was not too easy on the eyes. Because of unknonwn resons the website was completly “messed up”. By that i mean text was in random places, music didnt work, and pictures, well dont even get me started with that. But today sethegert.com looks clean, funtional, and theres not a piece of text out of place. This is becuse I’m using a new program to publish it, called WordPress. It’s much easier to use and has alot more features, including polls, picture gallerys, and pre-set themes. And while it is more expensive, its worth it becuse now I have a normal looking website. Not just normal looking but pretty good damn good looking.
Polls Comming Soon!
As you may not know I now use a different program to update and publish my website. It’s called WordPress (for more about this go to the news story “Hey it look normal now!”) and it has many new features. One of them is the ability to add polls to my website. So, started soon there will be polls on sethegert.com These polls will be updated once a week (at first about once every 2-3 weeks, but eventually I hope to be updating polls once a week). They may be polls on the website or on pop culture, maybe something else. They will be opinion polls, and I know they will be fun to answer. So look for polls, coming to sethgert.com soon.
